  1. Are your products people-friendly as well as animal-friendly?
    Fair labor is a very important concern to us. Many of our products are made in union factories in Western Europe, Australia, Canada, and the US. There are exceptions to this but we are very careful to address this issue with all of our manufacturers. Every company we work with has assured us that their products are made under fair labor standards. We are more than happy to provide you with more information about any of the manufacturers we carry if you just drop us an email at info@mooshoes.com. We try to include the country of origin on all of our product descriptions so that our customers can make an informed decision about any possible purchases.
  2. Are all your products vegan?
    MooShoes is a vegan-owned business that only carries vegan shoes, belts, wallets, and other accessories.
  3. What are your shoes made of? Do your shoes breathe?
    Our shoes that look like leather are made from a polyurethane synthetic microfiber. Our shoes do not contain any pvc or vinyl. They will breathe, stretch, and act just like leather.
  4. Do you ship outside the U.S.?
    Yes. MooShoes uses USPS airmail for international shipments. Generally, prices for standard air shipments are: to Canada: $15; Europe: $25; Outside Europe: $30-$35. Airmail cannot be tracked. Express shipping, which can be tracked, is available and costs more. MooShoes does not take responsibility for lost shipments, but we will do our best to help locate a lost item. If this is a concern, we recommend express shipping. MooShoes does not take responsibility for any duties incurred upon entry to a country.
  5. Do you have a retail location as well as online web store?
    Yes. In addition to its online store, MooShoes operates a retail location at 78 Orchard Street on the Lower East Side in Manhattan. MooShoes is open 7 days a week. Click here for store hours.
  6. Is everything in your online store, available in your retail location?
    Yes. Everything on the web-site is available at the store. However, we do run out of certain sizes and colors from time to time. If you are making a special trip, please call ahead to check on availability, and we will be happy to put an item on hold for you to ensure it's available, for up to 7 days in advance.
  7. Can I place an order over the phone?
    Yes. Phone orders are available during our regular business hours.
  8. Is your site secure?
    All credit card transactions are protected using high grade 256-bit SSL encryption by Thawte.
  9. How are domestic orders shipped?
    All domestic orders are shipped via ups and take from 1-5 business days depending on where they are being shipped. PO Boxes are sent via USPS. For more details, please see our shipping policy.
  10. How quickly are orders shipped?
    All orders are shipped by the following business day. If an item is not in stock, MooShoes will contact you within 24hrs, and an estimated delivery time will be given. During the holiday season orders may take an extra day.
  11. Is my credit card charged when I place an order?
    Credit cards will not be charged until your is shipped. Please note that there is a temporary hold for the amount of an order, and this will only become permanent when your order ships.
  12. Can my order be expedited?
    Yes. MooShoes offers Overnight, 2 day and 3 day express shipping. Prices vary by zip code. Please call to request express shipping at the time an order is placed.
